Staff
Staff training this year is offered June 15th - 17th.
The 15th will be a full day of First Aid and CPR class for those that need certification. The remainder of our time will be spent learning and practicing group dynamics and leadership skills.
The cost for training which includes room and board for three days at camp is $40. Staff members are entitled to $10 off the cost of a camp this summer for each week they vlounteer. (Yes you can give your discount to someone else.)
Volunteer Summer Staff:
Our summer staff is the heart of the ministry of Forward Bible Camp. Over 100 volunteers come together each summer to prepare the camp for summer, support the camp experience, or work directly with kids. It's a dynamic team of people of all ages and skills coming together to serve Jesus Christ while drawing young people into a close relationship with Him. You can volunteer for the entire summer or only one day. Contact us for more information or send in a volunteer application today.
Summer Missionary:
Each summer Forward Bible Camp enlists two to six summer missionaries to minister with the regular missionaries throughout the summer. Their duties are determined by the needs of the camp as well as the skills and talents of the individuals volunteering. The design of their ministry could include cabin leading, kitchen help, dish room help, custodial, maintenance, recreation director assistant, program director assistant, or lifeguard.
Summer Missionaries are given training in the area of ministry they will be working and also skills for raising prayer and financial support for the summer. Being a summer missionary is great for an individual interested in future ministry in a local church or on the mission field.
